Key Responsibilities
UX Strategy & Leadership
- Define and drive the overall UX vision and strategy for our Dealer Management Software ecosystem.
- Lead the UX team (designers, researchers, and UI specialists) with clear guidance, mentoring, and design best practices.
- Advocate user-centered design principles across the organization.
User Research & Insights
- Conduct user research with dealership stakeholders (service managers, sales consultants, F&I, parts managers, technicians, administrators, etc.).
- Translate research insights into actionable design requirements that solve real dealership operational challenges.
- Validate design concepts through usability testing and pilot programs with dealer partners.
Design & Delivery
- Create wireframes, user flows, interaction models, and high-fidelity prototypes for complex workflows like:
- Vehicle sales & CRM
- Service scheduling & RO management
- Parts inventory & ordering
- Accounting & reporting
- OEM integrations and compliance
- Ensure designs meet accessibility, consistency, and enterprise UX standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product Managers to define feature scope and priority.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and smooth implementation.
- Work with QA to validate that final products match design intent and deliver a top-tier user experience.
Design Systems & Standards
- Develop and maintain a scalable design system tailored for DMS workflows.
- Ensure UI consistency across web, mobile, and tablet environments commonly used in dealership operations.
