Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated Cloud Analyst with 2 - 3 years of hands-on experience to support our GCP-centric multi-cloud infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will assist in monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing cloud environments, working closely with senior cloud engineers and architects on day-to-day operational tasks, reporting, dashboards, and automation initiatives across our production platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor GCP infrastructure health, performance, and cost using Cloud Monitoring, BigQuery, and related tooling
  • Assist in incident triage, ticket management (Jira), and basic troubleshooting of cloud resources
  • Support IAM access reviews, security audits, and compliance checks (e.g., public GCS bucket exposure, role assignments across projects)
  • Generate and maintain operational dashboards and reports for stakeholders and team leads
  • Assist with routine automation using Terraform, gcloud CLI, or Python/Bash scripting (e.g., lifecycle policies, IAM provisioning)
  • Support patching, backups, and basic configuration management activities on GCE/GKE workloads
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain runbooks
  • Coordinate with senior engineers on escalations, change requests, and CSPM/security remediation items
  • Participate in on-call rotation for basic L1/L2 support (as applicable)

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 23 years of experience in a cloud operations, IT infrastructure, or DevOps-adjacent role
  • Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP); exposure to AWS or Azure is a plus
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, Cloud NAT)
  • Familiarity with Linux server administration fundamentals
  • Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools, especially Terraform
  • Basic scripting skills (Python or Bash)
  • Understanding of ticketing/reporting tools (Jira or similar)
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Nice to Have

  • Cloud certification (e.g., GCP Associate Cloud Engineer)
  • Exposure to Kubernetes/GKE and containerized workloads
  • Familiarity with Check Point firewall administration or RPA tools such as UiPath
  • Understanding of ITIL/incident management processes
  • Exposure to HIPAA/HITRUST or other compliance frameworks

What We Offer

  • Mentorship from senior cloud architects and engineers
  • Hands-on exposure to enterprise multi-cloud environments
  • Clear career growth path toward Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer roles
  • Competitive compensation aligned with market standards
