Job Description
About the Role:
Cloud Raptor is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and manage secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), CI/CD automation, and Kubernetes (EKS) to modernize environments, improve reliability, and support cloud migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform/CloudFormation
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Automate deployments with Ansible and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker & Kubernetes (Amazon EKS)
- Monitor and troubleshoot using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch
- Support cloud migration from onpremises to AWS
- Ensure availability, scalability, and security of cloud platforms
Requirements:
- 5 - 8 years of cloud engineering experience
- Strong AWS expertise with IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Handson Kubernetes/Docker experience
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and scripting languages
- Solid knowledge of networking, DNS, Linux/Windows administration, IT security
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
Good to Have:
- Exposure to cloud modernization/migration practices
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and backup strategies
