Remote Office, acting as a dedicated HR partner for our clients, is on the hunt for a highly skilled Unit Tester with Business Analyst experience to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining unit tests, while also leveraging their business analysis skills to ensure our software solutions align with both technical and business requirements
Responsibilities:. Analyse and understand test codes, ensuring they align with the functional and technical requirements. Execute these codes accurately and efficiently
Develop, review, and execute detailed unit test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications
Utilise automated testing tools to conduct rigorous testing of software components, identifying bugs and potential areas of improvement
Perform in-depth technical testing, focusing on the integrity and functionality of the codebase, with a strong emphasis on PHP, JavaScript, and React front-end technologies
Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct User Acceptance Testing, ensuring the product meets business needs and expectations
Engage in detailed business analysis to capture and document business requirements, translating them into clear, actionable user stories for developers
Manage the sprint board, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that all requirements are met within the project timeline
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and test cases to the development team
Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure comprehensive coverage of all aspects of the software
Go through the regression testing for the existing applications after each update
Assist in supporting developers during the testing process, ensuring that all requirements are met, and that any issues are resolved promptly
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of testing processes, outcomes, and business requirements
Experience Requirements:. Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions and team collaboration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in creating detailed test cases and writing unit tests and integration tests for programming languages
Experience in business requirements analysis and documentation
Proficient in working with AWS environment and the corresponding services
Experience in working with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and bug-tracking systems
Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, and React front-end technologies
Proficiency in using automated testing tools and experience with manual testing practices
Expertise in business analysis and requirement gathering
Ability to manage software project timelines and deliverables
Experience in writing and unpacking user stories
