Underwriter

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough reviews of loan applications to determine creditworthiness and risk assessment.
• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to evaluate borrower's credit history and ability to repay loans.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as sales teams, account managers, and operations staff to resolve issues related to loan processing.
• Develop strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service, responding promptly to inquiries, and ensuring timely resolution of their concerns.

Job Requirements :

• 3-15 years of experience in commercial lending or a related field (NBFC).
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, underwriting principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel) for data management and reporting purposes.
