Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Underwriter at Policybazaar.com, located in Gurugram. The Underwriter will be responsible for assessing and evaluating insurance applications, analyzing risk factors, determining policy terms, and reviewing insurance contracts. They will also collaborate with insurance agents and brokers to review applications and provide expert advice on underwriting policies.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to evaluate risk factors and make informed decisions
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in insurance underwriting, with a focus on KYC and AML compliance.
