Job Overview: The Tyre Executive is responsible for overseeing all aspects of tyre management and maintenance within the organization. This includes monitoring tyre conditions, ensuring proper tyre usage, managing inventory, and coordinating with vendors for tyre procurement and disposal. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of tyre specifications, maintenance practices, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tyre Inspection and Maintenance: Regularly inspect tyres for wear and tear, damage, and proper inflation. Schedule and perform tyre rotations, alignments, and balancing as necessary. Monitor tyre pressure and ensure it is within manufacturer-recommended levels.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of tyre inventory, including purchase, usage, and disposal. Coordinate with the procurement team to order new tyres and ensure adequate stock levels. Track tyre life cycles and plan for timely replacements.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and vendors for tyre purchasing, servicing, and disposal. Evaluate and negotiate contracts with tyre vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all tyres meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Implement and enforce safety protocols related to tyre maintenance and handling. Conduct training sessions for staff on tyre safety and maintenance procedures.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of tyre inspections, maintenance activities, and costs. Generate regular reports on tyre performance, usage trends, and inventory status. Provide recommendations for improving tyre management practices.
  • Support and Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team to integrate tyre management with overall vehicle maintenance schedules. Assist in resolving issues related to tyre performance and safety. Participate in meetings and provide insights on tyre-related matters.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in automotive technology or a related field is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tyre management or a related field, particularly in a maintenance or logistics environment. Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of tyre specifications, types, and maintenance procedures And computer Knowledge.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and inventory management skills.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills for vendor management.

Working Conditions: Environment: Primarily in a maintenance workshop or garage setting. Hours: Full-time, with occasional requirements for overtime or weekend work based on operational needs. Salary: As per industry standards.
