Trek Leader

Job Description: Rapture Holiday is seeking an experienced and passionate Trek Leader to join our team. As a Trek Leader, you will be responsible for leading trekking expeditions, ensuring the safety and well-being of participants, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent leadership skills, outdoor expertise, and a deep love for nature and adventure.

• Lead and guide trekking expeditions in various locations, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants
• Conduct pre-trek briefings, including safety protocols, equipment requirements, and route details
• Plan and organize logistics for treks, including accommodation, permits, transportation, and meals
• Provide expert guidance on trekking techniques, environmental conservation, and local flora and fauna
• Monitor and assess the physical fitness and capabilities of participants, adjusting the trek itinerary if necessary
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, customer service, and enthusiasm throughout the trek
• Act as a liaison between participants and local communities, fostering cultural exchange and respect
• Handle any emergencies or medical situations that may arise during the trek, following established protocols
• Ensure adherence to environmental and ethical guidelines, promoting responsible trekking practices
• Conduct post-trek evaluations and gather feedback from participants to improve future expeditions

• Minimum of 06 months of experience as a Trek Leader or in a similar role
• Basic knowledge and experience in trekking and outdoor activities, including navigation, first aid, and survival skills
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire participants
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds
• Extensive knowledge of trekking destinations, trails, and safety protocols
• Physical fitness and stamina to endure long treks and challenging terrains
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
• Passion for adventure, nature, and environmental conservation
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
