Job Description

Role & Responsibilities


  • Travel Planning & Booking: Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements (flights, hotels, holiday packages, cruises, rail tickets, transfers, car rentals, and insurance) for leisure, corporate, and group travelers.
  • Itinerary Design: Create customized travel itineraries tailored to clients' preferences, budgets, and travel goals.
  • Client Advisory: Guide clients on destinations, visa requirements, travel regulations, and local customs.
  • Vendor & Partner Coordination: Liaise with airlines, hotels, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), tour operators, and transport providers.
  • Reservations & Support: Process bookings, amendments, cancellations, and refunds according to company and supplier policies.
  • Documentation & Payments: Monitor booking confirmations, ensure error-free travel documentation, track payment schedules, and conduct pre-departure reviews.
  • Customer Care & Sales: Handle inquiries, complaints, and travel disruptions promptly; promote additional services (tours, activity packages, transfers, insurance) to drive upselling/cross-selling.
  • Records & Compliance: Maintain accurate booking records and customer profiles in the CRM/GDS system while ensuring compliance with company and travel regulations.

Preferred Candidate Profile


  • Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience working in a travel agency, tour operator, DMC, or corporate travel environment.
  • Education: Bachelors degree or Diploma in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Technical / Software Skills:
    • Hands-on experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or Travelport.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM / booking software.
  • Key Skills & Knowledge:
    • Strong destination knowledge and understanding of international visa procedures.
    • Vendor negotiation and problem-solving skills.
    • Sales and upselling abilities.
  • Certifications & Extras (Preferred):
    • IATA / UFTAA certification (or equivalent) is an advantage.
    • Multilingual skills are a plus.
  • Core Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication, customer-centric approach, high attention to detail, and ability to adapt to last-minute travel changes.
