Traction System Engineer

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and solution-oriented teammates. You'll define the architecture and functionalities of traction drives or auxiliary converter systems, technically leading engineering studies to achieve compliance with initial performance requirements. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Mechanical Engineers, SW Engineers, Product Technical Managers, as examples), optimizing transverse requirements and much more.

• Master's degree in electrical engineering with 10-12 years of experience.
• Experience or full competence of traction and/or auxiliary converter engineering
• Power electronics engineering experience
• Knowledge of product and system architecture design
• Railway market, especially Indian railways
• Familiarity with project management and risk mitigation strategies
• Proficiency in English
• A certification in project or engineering management (beneficial)
• Able to work in a multicultural global environment
