Job Description
Tool Design review and check with Design head for necessary mechanical tool functioning modifications required if any.
Verifying BOMS for standard elements.
Arrange for polymers/MB and any other related material for trials
Coordinating with manufacturing team and monitoring all related activities.
Coordination with tool maker whom the project has been awarded.
Coordinating with QC team.
Ensuring all inserts are being made as per scheduled and passed through inspection/QC.
Coordinating with HODs (tool room) for verifying Mould base, HRS system and supporting / standard elements arrival timely.
Monitoring/coordinating tool assembling/metal matching activity.
Move tool for trials and witness trials.
Able to load tool on machine, set process, modify process according to requirement (Most of the tools can be cleared in process itself)
Debugging skills after T 0 (to clear the tool/product; to match dimensional/functional specifications)
Once tool is cleared / validated/approved, and shipped, he may be required to travel at customer end for Tool commissioning.
