Theatre Teacher

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver theatre lessons to students of various age groups, creating engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  
• Develop curriculum materials, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback to improve performance skills.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues to produce school productions, plays, or other performances that showcase student talent.
  
• Organize extracurricular activities such as drama clubs or workshops for interested students.
  
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity, teamwork, and self-expression.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts or related field (MA preferred).
  
• 0-5 years of teaching experience in a similar role; relevant industry experience considered.
  
• Strong knowledge of acting techniques, playwriting principles, choreography methods.
  
• Excellent communication skills; ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning styles.
