Testing and Commissioning Engineer

Testing and Commissioning experience for Transmission Substation (110 Kv and above).

• Issue the commissioning planning with requested resources.
• Review the design, give solution and coordinate with commissioning supervisor.
• Perform Test procedures.
• Prepare and implement Test sheets with the approved of the client and consultant.
• Attend the factory acceptance test of equipment if required.
• Prepare the day to day planning activity and manage the different testing team.
• Test CT, VT, CB, Auxiliary Transformers, Disconnectors, Earthing switches.
• Test all Metering Devices.
• Test station earthing system.
• Test Fault Recorders.
• Test all control, protection and local control panels and the interfaces between them.
• Test synchronizing devices.
• Test HV Transformers mechanical protections.
• Test Transformers over load tap changer.
• Test Ac/ DC systems (AC & DC panels, battery chargers, UPS & Battery charging and discharging).
• Test the Interface between the station and DCS.
• Test different protection devices, Testing & Commissioning of Protection Relays (Numerical and Electrostatic Relays) ABB, Alstom, Schneider, Electric, Siemens.
• Perform the energizing according to procedure and safety.
• Coordinate and report to site commissioning supervisor.
• Finish the punch list after station energize.
• Give training to client if required on devices.
• Record the modification and issue as built drawing.
• Relative experience with control and protection equipments.
