Testing & Automation Engineer

Position Overview

As a test engineer, you will have the unique benefit of testing & debugging both hardware & software in a
rapid production environment with a small and collaborative team. In this position, you will be empowered
to leverage your technical, leadership and business acumen to work on cutting edge technologies in our
field (such as Industrial Internet-Of-Things (IIoT) platform & Next-Gen Smart Meters), while mentoring
other engineers.

Role and Responsibilities

Creating test plans for products and updating them when product is upgraded

Perform product validation and verification of hardware & software
Debugging hardware/software bugs and working with rest of R&D team to fix them
Creating and maintaining test scripts for our Android Apps, IoT cloud service and devices
Creating frameworks for automated testing
Updating product catalogs
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
Actively participate in customer POCs to optimize customer experience and adoption
Work collaboratively with multiple departments such as Sales, Marketing, & Production Team and provice them with technical support

Required Skills and Experience

Familiarity with basic hardware concepts required for dealing with embedded circuits such as
Transistors, Inductors, Voltage, Current, Power Factor etc.

Experience with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltage/current sources, JTAG
debuggers

Familiarity with Python, Git (and optionally C/C++).

Bonus if familiar with communication protocols such as Modbus, RS485, RS232, I2C, SPI, USB,
HTTP.

Bonus if prior work experience in Metering/Switchgears/Power Generation field.

B.Tech degree or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering or a similar
field.
