Hiring | Lead Test Engineer Python Automation
Incedo is hiring experienced Sr. Test Engineers with strong hands-on experience in Python, Linux, and software testing.
Locations: Gurugram | Pune | Bangalore

Role: Lead Test Engineer
We are looking for a strong Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Python automation and Linux. The candidate should have a solid understanding of software testing concepts, debugging, automation, CI/CD, and containerized environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand test requirements and define effective test strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based test automation scripts.
- Perform functional, sanity, regression, and integration testing.
- Troubleshoot and debug application/product issues.
- Automate and integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with development and testing teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Research and integrate new tools and technologies into the existing testing framework.
Must-Have Skills
- 79 years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python – MUST HAVE.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux – MUST HAVE.
- Good understanding of functional, sanity, regression, and integration testing.
- Experience with Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Good understanding of Containerization / Docker.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience with Spirent or IXIA traffic generator tools.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Experience in troubleshooting L2/L3 products.
- Experience with on-site execution/integration support.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to testing products in the AI/Data Science domain is an added advantage.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Immediate Joiners are preferred.
