Job Title: Senior Software Test Engineer (Manual Automation Testing)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Software Test Engineer with experience in Manual Testing, Tosca Automation, API Testing, Mobile Testing, and Database Testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, hands-on experience in designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, and the ability to ensure high-quality software delivery across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Perform manual and automated testing using Tricentis Tosca to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Validate REST and SOAP APIs using Postman and SOAP UI.
• Perform database testing by validating data integrity and backend transactions.
• Execute mobile application testing across different devices and platforms.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Support Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) activities using TeamCity and Octopus Deploy.
• Maintain test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect documentation using QTest.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and testing best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

  Required Skills Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Manual Testing, Tosca Automation, API Testing, Mobile Testing, and Database Testing.
  • Good understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca, Postman, SOAP UI, QTest, TeamCity, and Octopus Deploy.
  • Experience in preparing comprehensive test plans and executing System, Integration, and Regression Testing.
  • Knowledge of SQL for database validation and backend testing.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
