Test Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Ingenium senior resource with 7-9 years of testing experience in the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Manual Testing, a deep understanding of Life Insurance business processes, and hands-on experience working on the Ingenium Policy Administration System. The candidate will lead testing activities, collaborate with business and technical teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities for Ingenium-based applications and enhancements.
• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and insurance workflows.
• Prepare test strategy, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders for requirement clarification.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing activities.
• Manage defect lifecycle, including defect reporting, tracking, and closure.
• Review test deliverables and provide guidance to team members.
• Ensure testing milestones and project timelines are met.
• Prepare and share test execution reports, defect metrics, and status updates.
• Support production validation and post-release testing activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing.
• Strong experience as a Test Lead in Insurance projects.
• Hands-on experience with Ingenium Policy Administration System.
• Strong Manual Testing expertise.
• Good understanding of Life Insurance domain, including policy servicing, underwriting, claims, billing, and customer management processes.
• Experience in Test Planning, Test Case Design, Defect Management, and Test Execution.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in API testing.
• Exposure to automation testing concepts.
• Experience working with distributed teams and client stakeholders.
