Role & responsibilities
Job Summary (Areas of Responsibility)
Functional Testing: Test the valve sizing software (Quick Config) from a user and functional perspective to ensure accuracy, reliability, and alignment with industry standards.
Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with the product team to understand business and technical requirements.
Documentation: Translate test findings and product requirements into clear, structured documentation for developers.
Communication: Act as a liaison between product managers and the development team, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer.
Collaboration: Collaborate with UI developers and other cross-functional teams to integrate user-facing elements into the tool and improve the user adoption.
Continuous Learning: Quickly grasp new concepts, industry practices, and software features to provide effective testing and feedback.
Support & Feedback: Provide insights to improve usability and performance and support the technical manager in tool development and enhancement.
Core Competencies
Ability to perform manual testing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.
Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Experience in software testing or requirement documentation is a plus.
Familiarity with control valve industry concepts and Fluid Mechanics is desirable
A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and user community.
Strong attention to detail and a self-motivated, proactive approach to work.
