Test Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and frameworks using Python and JavaScript.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing for software applications.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and improve test coverage.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster releases.
• Analyze test results, prepare reports, and provide actionable feedback to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and overall testing efficiency.
• Participate in sprint planning, QA discussions, and code reviews to maintain quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong experience in automation testing using Python and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Familiarity with API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
