Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer, you will be an integral part of our RD team, working closely with Development and Product Management. Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain a robust test environment for product validation and stress testing. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Development team to establish best practices for product testability and work with Product Management to understand and define requirements.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software testing or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is preferred.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for test automation.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and device testing is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry advancements.

• Define and execute comprehensive test scenarios for embedded devices and systems, ensuring coverage of all requirements.
• Create and maintain a test environment for product functionality validation and reliability testing.
• Develop best practices for product testability in collaboration with the Development team.
• Submit defects, isolate problems, and engage in fault-finding activities to identify and resolve issues.
• Work closely with Product Management to understand requirement definitions and investigate customer issues.
• Reproduce and analyze customer-reported problems to provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes.
• Document test plans, procedures, and results for future reference and improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance testing strategies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Product Development department.
