Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer to join our team in the General Insurance domain, specifically in Motor, Travel, Fire, and Engineering insurance. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in core software testing.
Roles and Responsibility
- Design and develop test cases for various insurance products.
- Create requirement traceability matrices for tests designed.
- Select suitable test cases for automation considering automation criteria.
- Perform SIT and UAT test execution.
- Report defects and follow up with developers and BA/IT for defect fixation and tracking SLA.
- Develop scenarios and derive test cases from them.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in core software testing.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries, databases, and running basic SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with Test Management tools like Quality Center and Defect Management tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Good verbal and written communication skills along with strong logical thinking.
- Must be a good learner, self-starter, and a team player.
- Willingness to travel and work at various customer sites.
- Preferred exposure in Health Insurance/Motor Insurance/Travel Insurance/Property and Casualty.
- Any graduate with an IT background.
