Test Automation Engineer(Playwright Tester)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Design test scenarios for critical user journeys, including selectors, assertions, and robust waiting strategies.
• Integrate automated tests into CI workflows and troubleshoot failures to improve test reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate bug fixes and ensure regressions are covered.
• Maintain test code quality, documentation, and reusable utilities within the automation framework.

Skills Required:

• 3-7 years of relevant experience in QA and test automation
• Playwright for automated UI testing (end-to-end and integration coverage).
• TypeScript for building and maintaining test automation code.
• Test reliability practices (stable locators, assertions, and synchronization/waiting).
• Experience working with automated test execution in CI and debugging test failures.

Good to Have:

• Selenium for browser automation and cross-browser testing.
• Jest for running and structuring JavaScript/TypeScript test suites.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
