Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Design and enhance automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and testing needs.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Perform API testing and database validation where required.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Analyse test results and prepare detailed test reports.
• Ensure software quality standards and best practices are followed.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
