Job Description
The Medical Representative is responsible for promoting the company s pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals, building strong professional relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets within a defined territory.
Key Responsibilities - Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to doctors, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and market share objectives
- Plan and execute daily field visits as per assigned route
- Organize and participate in product presentations, CMEs, and promotional activities
- Provide accurate product information, samples, and promotional materials
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- bachelors degree in Science, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or any relevant discipline
- Freshers or candidates with 0 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales (as per role level)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
- Persuasion and negotiation skills
- Relationship-building ability
