About the Role
We are building a daily Telugu-language stock market update channel on YouTube covering NSE/BSE market moves, sector news, and investor sentiment. We're looking for detail-oriented associates to track markets throughout the day, monitor financial news and social media, and compile a structured evening report that feeds into the daily video script.
This is a data collection and compilation role the associate gathers and organizes information; final market commentary, opinions, and any recommendations remain the responsibility of the Research Analyst.
Preferred candidate profile
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of Indian stock markets indices, sectors, common terminology
- Strong reading comprehension in English (for source material) and fluent written Telugu (for compiled output)
- Comfortable using Twitter/X, YouTube, Telegram to track financial accounts
- Basic MS Excel/Google Sheets skills for organizing data
- Attention to detail and ability to meet a firm daily deadline
- Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision once trained
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Prior experience with financial content, market news aggregation, or a finance/commerce background
- Familiarity with Zerodha Kite, TradingView, or similar platforms (for reference, not trading)
- Basic video editing or Canva skills for visual assets
