Technical Project & Program Manager - (5Pm To 2Am IST Shift)

Role Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Technical Project & Program Manager to lead, evolve, and scale our global delivery engagements and program management capabilities. Acting as a strategic advisor and delivery authority, you will bridge the gap between complex engineering execution and executive business outcomes. In this role, you will drive strategic direction, manage key stakeholders, and provide hands-on leadership during critical delivery resolutions across multi-client offshore engagements with global clients during US/overlap hours

Shift Timings: Night Shift (5:00 PM 2:00 AM IST) or USA EST Primetime

Role & responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute program management frameworks and project roadmaps inalignment with client business objectives. Mentor project leads, coach delivery managers, and drive a culture of continuous improvement across Agile delivery teams.
• Technical Excellence & Governance: Oversee end-to-end delivery governance, solution feasibility, and alignment of software development architectures across multi-project environments. Guide best practices for enterprise Agile/Scrum/Hybrid methodologies, sprint planning, velocity tracking, and release management.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the trusted primary point of contact for executive client stakeholders. Effectively translate technical milestones, project scope, and delivery metrics into tangible business value.
• Operational Resilience: Lead resource and scope-optimization initiatives to improve overall delivery quality and schedule adherence. Provide tactical, hands-on guidance during high-severity project risks, scope changes, and critical escalations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience Profile: 9 to 12+ years in IT, with a proven track record of leading large-scale software development initiatives and managing engineering teams/delivery programs in a fast-paced services or consulting environment handling multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Technical Roots & Architecture: Strong past background as a hands-on software developer, tech lead, or architect before transitioning into program management, enabling deep participation in architecture reviews and technical estimations.
• Program Management Ecosystem: Advanced knowledge of PM tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, Azure DevOps), governance frameworks, project accounting, resource forecasting, and metrics tracking (burn-down charts, velocity, lead time).
• Delivery Methodologies: Deep expertise in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Hybrid methodologies; ability to define sprint structures, backlog prioritization, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) delivery pipelines from a management standpoint.
• Risk & Quality Governance: Strong background in establishing enterprise project governance, risk mitigation frameworks, release strategies, and quality assurance stacks.
• Consulting & Delivery: Exceptional decision-making capabilities under pressure, excellent presentation skills, and the flexibility to support client time zones and extended hours (including US/EU overlap hours) during critical deliverables.

Preferred Certifications (Bonus)

• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• Agile Frameworks: PMI-ACP or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) / SAFe Agilist
• Technical & Cloud: Cloud/Technical Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP foundational or architecture level)
