Technical Lead (MERN)

• We are hiring an experienced Technical Lead (MERN)*to drive the design and development of cutting-edge web applications using Nodejs, Reactjs, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL
• The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist with deep expertise in Microservices architecture, AWS, and modern development practices
• You will play a key leadership role in defining system architecture, mentoring developers, optimizing performance, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of deployed solutions
• A strong passion for technology, problem-solving, and the ability to translate business needs into technical excellence are essential

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle*of web applications using the MERN stack*(MongoDB/PostgreSQL, Expressjs, Reactjs, Nodejs)
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing microservices-based architectures
• Drive technical decision-making*and define best practices, coding standards, and architecture guidelines
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions
• Mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering innovation and continuous improvement
• Oversee deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high system reliability on AWS
• Optimize backend and frontend performance to improve scalability and user experience
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance development efficiency
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data protection*best practices
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide long-term, sustainable solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• bachelors/masters degree*in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of professional experience*in software development, with strong expertise in MERN stack technologies
• Proficiency in Nodejs, Reactjs, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL
• Strong experience designing and implementing Microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with AWS services*(EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, etc)
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, conduct code reviews, and define scalable software solutions
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Deep understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NestJS, Nextjs, or serverless architectures
• Exposure to message queues*(Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc) or real-time systems
• Working knowledge of GraphQL*and TypeORM/Prisma
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
