Core Salesforce Engineering:

Design and develop bulk-safe Apex using Sets, Maps, and collections
Apply Salesforce governor limit-aware coding practices in all solutions
Build and maintain Sales Cloud functionality across Opportunity, Account, Lead, and related objects
Implement clean separation of concerns (domain, service, async layers)

Code Quality & Reviews:

Review Apex and test code to identify:
- SOQL/DML in loops
- Concurrency issues and race conditions
- Null-safety and exception-handling gaps
Refactor legacy or sub-optimal code to production standards
Ensure code is maintainable, readable, and extensible

Testing & Quality Engineering:

Write comprehensive Apex test classes covering:
- Positive, negative, and bulk scenarios
- Edge cases and failure conditions
Define and apply testing metrics, including assertion quality and regression coverage
Review and correct poorly written test code
Ensure all solutions meet Salesforce deployment and quality gates

Integration & Async Processing:

Design and implement Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
Use appropriate asynchronous patterns (Queueable Apex, Platform Events, Batch Apex)
Avoid synchronous callouts from triggers and handle retries and failures gracefully
Build idempotent and resilient integration logic

Data Consistency & Concurrency:

Handle multi-user update scenarios safely using:
- Record locking ( FOR UPDATE )
- Aggregation patterns where appropriate
Prevent lost updates and ensure transactional consistency

Security & Governance:

Develop Apex with CRUD/FLS awareness
Apply appropriate sharing models ( with sharing / without sharing )
Externalize configuration using Custom Metadata / Custom Settings where applicable
Implement structured error handling and logging
