What you will do

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Design, develop, and unit test innovative switch and router products.
  • Collaborate within an agile team, taking on both development and unit testing responsibilities.
  • Own the end-to-end process, including feature design, coding, unit testing, support feature testing, support regression testing, and help creating automation test scripts.
  • Contribute to comprehensive documentation and play a key role in ongoing product maintenance and improvement.

This is a hands-on position where your contributions will directly impact the success and evolution of the product.

You will bring

To excel in this role, it would be beneficial if you have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  • Networking & Routing Expertise:
    You bring a strong understanding of networking and distributed computing concepts, with proficiency in Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols, including BGP, ISIS, OSPF, ARP, ND, IPv6, RIB, and BFD. Your solid grasp of routing principles and client-server architecture, paired with excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, enables you to thrive in complex networking environments.

Preferred Qualifications You Bring:

  • A Master s/Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or an equivalent field.
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills , particularly in software development for L2/L3 Ethernet switches or routers.
  • In-depth understanding of networking technologies and related protocols, paired with independent thinking and a quick learning ability .
  • Extensive knowledge in data communication or telecommunications , along with the ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
  • A proactive mindset, positive learning attitude, and strong professional and personal integrity.
  • Fluency in English (both speaking and writing) is essential for clear communication.
  • Familiarity with helping automation testing and agile/scrum methodologies is a plus, further enhancing your ability to adapt and succeed in an agile environment.
