Senior Backend Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with extensive experience in Java to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that support our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and enhance user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to define and implement APIs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Ensure code quality through automated testing and continuous integration practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Understanding of security best practices in backend development.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
