Job Summary
We are looking for a strong Technical Lead with deep hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch to lead backend delivery from the offshore team. This role requires a senior profile who is not only technically sound in the core stack, but is also capable of driving execution, guiding developers, and ensuring delivery quality in a structured client-facing environment.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of backend development, batch processing workflows, code quality, technical decision-making, and team coordination. This is a lead role for someone who can combine strong development capability with delivery responsibility and represent the offshore team with confidence and clarity.
What You Will Do
- Lead backend development and technical execution using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and batch processing solutions aligned with project requirements.
- Drive day-to-day execution from the offshore team and ensure technical deliverables move forward with clarity and discipline.
- Break down requirements into actionable technical tasks and guide the team on implementation approach.
- Provide hands-on support in design, coding, debugging, performance optimization, and issue resolution.
- Review code thoroughly and ensure adherence to coding standards, maintainability, and delivery quality.
- Design and manage Spring Batch jobs including job configuration, scheduling coordination, chunk processing, exception handling, restartability, and monitoring.
- Work closely with client stakeholders, architects, and internal teams to clarify technical expectations and manage dependencies.
- Support release readiness, production issue analysis, and technical risk mitigation.
- Mentor team members and provide strong technical direction across backend modules.
Skills You Need
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and backend application development.
- Strong working experience in Spring Boot for building enterprise-grade APIs and backend services.
- Strong and practical experience in Spring Batch for large-scale batch processing and job orchestration.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, backend integration patterns, and microservices-based development.
- Solid experience in handling batch data processing, job failures, retries, logging, and performance tuning.
- Good command over SQL and backend data processing workflows.
- Ability to lead offshore technical execution and provide direction to developers with minimal supervision.
- Strong code review, debugging, and problem-solving capability.
- Clear communication and stakeholder coordination skills suitable for lead-level ownership.
Preferred Profile
- Prior experience in a Technical Lead / Lead Developer role.
- Experience working in delivery-driven environments with direct client expectations.
- Exposure to release coordination, production support, and structured development processes.
- Ability to balance hands-on contribution with team leadership responsibilities.
