Core Technical Game Artist
Key Responsibilities
Art Tech Integration
Act as the link between the art and engineering teams to implement and optimize game assets.
Support developers by preparing assets, animations, and effects in compatible formats.
Ensure assets follow proper pipelines and function correctly within the game engine.
Pipeline Development & Automation
Design, improve, and maintain workflows for asset creation, export, and implementation.
Develop scripts, tools, or plugins (e.g., Photoshop, Spine, After Effects export tools) to improve efficiency.
Standardize asset formats, naming conventions, and folder structures.
Optimization & Performance
Optimize textures, animations, and VFX for memory, loading time, and performance across platforms.
Identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot asset-related issues during development.
Implement best practices for compression, resolution scaling, and file management.
Animation & VFX Support
Integrate and troubleshoot Spine 2D animations within the production pipeline.
Work with Adobe After Effects to prepare motion graphics, transitions, and export pipelines.
Collaboration & Problem Solving
Partner with artists, designers, and engineers to find creative technical solutions.
Provide technical guidance and training to the art team on tools and workflows.
Document processes, tools, and workflows for cross-team clarity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, After Effects).
Solid understanding of Spine 2D workflows (import/export, rigging basics, animation troubleshooting).
Hands-on experience with asset pipelines, optimization techniques, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with game file formats (PNG, PSD, JSON, sprite sheets, Gltf, GLB, FBX, etc.).
Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate creative needs into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Good to Have (Optional)
Prior experience in iGaming, slot games, or casual game production.
Understanding of shaders, particle systems or Game pipelines.
Basic knowledge of scripting or automation (Python, MEL, or other relevant languages).
Exposure to version control systems (Git, Perforce, etc.).

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and resourceful Core Technical Artist with 3 6 years of professional experience as a Technical Artist or in a similar role in game development to join our world class iGaming slot creation team. As a key bridge between art and development, the Technical Artist will be responsible for ensuring that creative assets are seamlessly integrated into the game while maintaining performance, quality, and efficiency across multiple platforms.
