Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Associate Product Manager to join our product team and help bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize backlogs, and guide technical delivery. You should be comfortable discussing APIs, databases, architecture, and modern tech stacks (such as Node.js , React , cloud services, and CI/CD workflows).
Key Responsibilities:
Product Ownership & Roadmap
- Collaborate with Product Managers and engineering leads to define product goals, roadmaps, and KPIs.
- Translate high-level business and user requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Own epics, user stories, and product backlog grooming using tools like Jira , ClickUp , or Azure DevOps .
Technical Communication & Coordination
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of features.
- Participate in technical discussions involving Node.js , React.js , microservices, and RESTful APIs.
- Evaluate technical trade-offs and align on optimal solutions with engineering teams.
- Manage release plans, QA coordination, and go-live activities.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Coordinate between engineering, QA, design, DevOps, and business teams.
- Communicate technical aspects of the product to non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
Data & Performance Tracking
- Analyze usage data, logs, and performance metrics to identify improvement areas.
- Collaborate with data teams or use tools like Mixpanel , Google Analytics , Amplitude , or even SQL for reporting and product insights.
Documentation & Support
- Maintain up-to-date documentation: product specs, API references, release notes, and tech diagrams.
- Support customer success and engineering with internal tooling or documentation for debugging and support escalation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 6+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a technical role with product-facing exposure.
- Strong understanding of web application architecture, APIs, databases, and frontend/backend systems.
- Familiarity with modern stacks: JavaScript (Node.js/React) , REST/GraphQL APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Hands-on experience as a developer, QA, or solutions engineer is a plus.
- Product certifications (e.g. CSPO, Pragmatic, SAFe PM/PO).
- Experience with API products, platforms, or internal developer tools.
Soft Skills:
Ownership-driven and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
High attention to detail and ability to dig into the technical why behind user stories.
Strong problem-solving mindset.
Ability to collaborate with both deeply technical engineers and non-technical business stakeholders.
