We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect - Ecommerce Search to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale ecommerce search solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in search technologies, distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and large-scale digital commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the architecture roadmap for ecommerce search platforms.
• Design scalable, high-performance search solutions using Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Solr, or Lucene.
• Lead architecture discussions and provide technical leadership across development teams.
• Define search relevance strategies, ranking models, indexing frameworks, and query optimization techniques.
• Architect microservices-based solutions and integrate search capabilities with ecommerce platforms.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
• Ensure system scalability, security, performance, and availability.
• Mentor developers and conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve search and customer experience capabilities.

Required Skills

• 10-18 years of IT experience with strong solution architecture expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Solr, or Lucene.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Experience designing large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of search indexing, relevance tuning, ranking algorithms, and performance optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
