About the Job :

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled .NET Core Developer with WPF expertise to join our growing technology team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in developing desktop applications using .NET Core, C#, and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), along with a solid understanding of software architecture, application performance, and modern development practices.

This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of building scalable, high-performance applications while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust desktop applications using .NET Core, C#, and WPF.

- Build scalable, high-performance, and maintainable software solutions aligned with business requirements.

- Develop rich and responsive user interfaces using WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and XAML.

- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand technical and functional requirements.

- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.

- Participate in software architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

- Optimize application performance and improve system responsiveness.

- Integrate applications with APIs, databases, and third-party systems when required.

- Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and ensure high code quality standards.

- Maintain technical documentation and provide support during deployment and production phases.

- Stay updated with the latest Microsoft technologies, frameworks, and development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development using Microsoft technologies.

- Strong expertise in .NET Core and C# programming.

- Proven experience in developing desktop applications using WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation).

- Strong understanding of XAML, MVVM architecture, and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.

- Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and application optimization.

- Familiarity with REST APIs, multithreading, asynchronous programming, and dependency injection.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git/Azure DevOps/TFS.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in enterprise application development.

- Knowledge of SQL Server and database integration.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure will be an added advantage.

- Prior experience working in agile development environments.
