Job Description:
In this role, associates will lead end-to-end direct sourcing strategies for production materials, components, and supplier partnerships to ensure continuity of supply, cost competitiveness, quality alignment, and risk-managed procurement operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category sourcing strategies for direct materials aligned to business demand, cost, and quality goals.
- Lead supplier identification, qualification, negotiation, onboarding, and performance governance.
- Drive commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, contracts, lead times, and service commitments.
- Partner with Planning, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Engineering teams to align sourcing decisions with business priorities.
- Monitor market trends, commodity movements, supply risks, and supplier capacity constraints to proactively manage continuity risks.
- Lead RFx processes, bid evaluations, supplier selection, and recommendation governance.
- Establish supplier scorecards, business review cadence, and corrective action tracking for performance improvement.
- Drive savings, value engineering opportunities, working capital improvements, and supply base optimization.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval thresholds, contract controls, and audit requirements.
- Mentor team members and support standardization of sourcing processes, templates, and reporting.
