Job Summary
A Medical Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling pharmaceutical or medical products to healthcare professionals such as doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals. The role involves building strong relationships, increasing product awareness, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
  • Promote company products to doctors, clinics, and hospitals
  • Schedule and conduct regular visits to healthcare professionals
  • Present product information, benefits, and usage guidelines
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends
  • Organize medical camps, CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), or promotional events
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, calls, and customer interactions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations
Required Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good convincing and negotiation ability
  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical products and medical terminology

Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree (B.Sc, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, or any life sciences field preferred)
  • Freshers or candidates with 0 3 years of experience in pharma sales
  • Valid driving license (often required for field work)
