Job Description: -

Manubhai And Shah LLP is looking for a detail-oriented Tax Assistant with hands-on experience in Income Tax return preparation and filings, Tax Audit, Handling Income Tax Notices, GST, TDS/TCS etc.to support our tax compliance and filing activities.

Designation - Tax Assistant

Qualification - B.com or any related to finance field

Experience - 1+ years of experience into tax domain

location - New Marine Lines, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

1.GST Compliance

Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR 9 and 9C etc.)

Reconciliation of GST data and resolving discrepancies

Handling GST notices and departmental communications

2. TDS / TCS

Calculation, deduction, and payment of TDS/TCS

Preparation and filing of TDS/TCS returns

3.Direct Taxation

Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, trusts, company, and other entities.

Computing Advance tax liability.

Preparation and filing of various Income tax forms.

Preparation and filing of rectified/revised Income tax returns.

Assist in handling communications/notices received from Income tax department

4.Trust/ NGO Compliance

Preparation and filing of Audit report i.e form 10B/10BB of trust.

Filing trust accounts with charity commissioner.

5. Preparation and filing of various forms related to FCRA.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in commerce (B.Com) or related field

Minimum1+ year of practical experience in taxation

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS/TCS, and Income Tax laws

Experience in Winman tax software, Income tax utilities

Basic knowledge of MS Excel and accounting principles.
