Job Description
Seeking a Tableau Platform Administrator to manage and optimize our Tableau Server/Cloud environment. The role involves ensuring platform stability, security, and performance while supporting business intelligence teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Tableau Server/Cloud.
- User Administration: Manage users, groups, permissions, and authentication (AD/SSO).
- Performance Optimization: Monitor server health, optimize extracts, and tune workloads.
- Governance: Enforce publishing standards, metadata management, and compliance.
- Upgrades & Recovery: Apply patches, manage backups, and implement disaster recovery.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Tableau Server/Cloud administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Tableau architecture, extracts, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in SQL, scripting (Python/PowerShell), and automation.
- Experience with Active Directory, SSO, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
