Tableau Admin

Roles and responsibility: -

Advanced knowledge and experience with Tableau software (Desktop Pro, Server, Interactor), with a strong understanding of Tableau architecture and administration.

Experience as Tableau administrator, developing in, configuring and administering Tableau Server.

5 - 7 years of experience in BI role working specifically with Business Community producing analytical reports/dashboards, predictive analytics, ROI calculations demonstrating value of BI

Strong development skills in Tableau and data analytics and visualizations

Strong Knowledge in BI tools including ETL, Data Warehousing, other BI tools.

Experience in Tableau scripting (TABCMD and TABADMIN).

Ability to architect a stable Tableau solution guaranteed for high operational availability.

Experience working with Relational Databases (SQL Server - required, Oracle).

Expertise in Tableau platform sizing, troubleshooting, tuning disaster recovery.

Good knowledge of Tableau Metadata tables.

Should have experience on any scripting language

Should have experience on any performance monitoring tool

Good to have experience working on any 3rd party tool integrating with Tabelau

Good to have experience on Linux

Should have experience on working with postgre sql

Should be capable of doing server management like clustering , load balancing

Good to have explore on API s

Need to have strong expertise in debugging the Performance Counters at MSTR Server and OS Level

Desirable Technical / Functional Skills: -

Must demonstrate ability to analyze medium to large, complex or vague Business or Technical problem and translate analysis into viable solution recommendations.

Experience in driving out requirements and building documentation process.

Familiar with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum,

Ability to work with both business and technology Customer.
