Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System & Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in PVC card printer support and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting card printing systems, resolving hardware/software issues, and ensuring seamless network and application performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
PVC Card Printer Support
- Install, configure, and maintain PVC card printers (e.g., Zebra, Evolis, Data card, Fargo, or similar).
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to card printing quality, encoding errors, ribbon issues, and hardware faults.
- Perform preventive maintenance and firmware upgrades for printers.
- Support smart card encoding, magnetic stripe encoding, and related systems.
- Manage printer drivers, configurations, and integration with applications.
System & Application Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues impacting card printing systems.
- Work with internal teams to ensure proper functionality of card management software and databases.
- Provide end-user support for system usage, printing errors, and operational concerns.
- Maintain system logs and documentation for recurring issues and resolutions.
Network Support
- Diagnose and resolve LAN/WAN/network connectivity issues related to printers and systems.
Working days - Monday to Saturday (4th Saturday will be off)
Shift Timings - 9 to 6 PM
