Job Summary

Windows systems admin, hardware troubleshooting, group policies

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows Linux desktops and servers
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (servers, desktops, storage, peripherals)
• Administer Windows Server: User, group, and permission management
• Group Policies (GPO) and security policies
• Ensure robust network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and other security appliances
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize system performance and reliability
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime
• Conduct regular system backups and perform data recovery operations when needed

Candidate Profile

• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications
• In-depth knowledge of network administration, including experience with firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and network security practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with industry-standard protocols and technologies
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
• Added Advantage: Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware)
• Added Advantage: Knowledge of PowerShell / Bash scripting
• Added Advantage: Understanding of system security hardening
