Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Design and build high-performance, robust, and reusable Svelte component libraries and frameworks.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of frontend engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive technical excellence.
- Migration & Integration: Oversee the migration of legacy apps (React/Vue) to Svelte or integrate Svelte into existing systems.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize application performance, load times, and state management for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, UX/UI designers, and Backend teams to translate mockups into flawless code.
Preferred candidate profile
- Core UI Foundations: 8+ years of deep expertise in HTML5, CSS3, Modern JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
- Svelte Expertise: 3+ years of production experience with Svelte.js, SvelteKit, and store-based state management.
- Build Tools: Strong experience with Vite, Webpack, Rollup, and NPM package optimization.
- Testing: Proficiency in unit and integration testing tools like Vitest, Jest, or Playwright.
- CI/CD & Version Control: Advanced knowledge of Git, GitHub/GitLab actions, and automated deployment pipelines
