Surveyor For Road and Irrigation Projects

Role & responsibilities

Survey Execution

• Conduct topographical, L-section & cross-section surveys
• Perform centerline alignment for road/canal works
• Carry out contour surveys for irrigation and land development

Leveling Work

• Take reduced levels (RLs) using Auto Level / Total Station
• Establish and maintain Benchmarks (BM)
• Ensure accuracy in survey data collection

Data Processing

• Prepare survey drawings (L-Section, Cross-section, Contours)
• Calculate earthwork quantities (cut & fill)
• Maintain proper survey records and reports

Coordination

• Coordinate with design and execution teams
• Provide survey data for planning and construction activities
• Assist in resolving site-related alignment issues

Equipment Handling

• Operate instruments like:
• Total Station
• Auto Level
• DGPS
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance
