Survey Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Site Survey Engineer to conduct structural surveys and audits of buildings and telecom infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for site inspections, structural measurements, AutoCAD drafting, and coordinating with the structural design team to ensure accurate assessment of building stability and telecom infrastructure requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct structural audits and site surveys of residential, commercial, industrial, and telecom structures.
• Perform detailed inspections to assess the structural stability and load-bearing capacity of buildings.
• Carry out physical measurements of buildings, including identification of RCC columns, beams, slabs, and other structural elements.
• Identify structural defects, damages, or safety concerns and document observations.
• Capture site photographs and maintain detailed survey documentation.
• Prepare accurate building layouts and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop RCC structural layouts indicating beam and column locations, sizes, and dimensions.
• Assess the capacity of existing RCC structural members through structural analysis and provide findings to the design team.
• Identify suitable locations for telecom towers, rooftop monopoles, Ground-Based Masts (GBMs), and associated load distribution systems.
• Assist in preparing foundation drawings, structural details, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Coordinate closely with the Structural Design Team and Site Coordination Team for project execution.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality guidelines, and project timelines.
• Support cross-functional quality control activities and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Participate in technical training, project coordination, and team development activities under the guidance of senior management.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or
• Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering

• 1-3 years of experience in structural surveys, site inspections, or civil engineering projects.

• Willingness to travel to project sites for inspections and surveys.
• Strong observation, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
