Job Description
- The Surveillance Executive is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing surveillance operations to safeguard the organization's assets, employees, and visitors
- This role involves utilizing advanced surveillance technology, analyzing data, and coordinating with security teams to prevent and respond to security breaches and incidents
- Key Responsibilities:Surveillance Operations:Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems
- Monitor surveillance feeds in real-time to identify security threats and suspicious activities
- Conduct regular audits to ensure surveillance systems are functioning effectively
- Data Analysis:Analyze surveillance data to identify patterns, trends, and potential security risks
- Prepare reports based on surveillance findings, including incident reports and recommendations for security improvements
- Incident Response:Coordinate with security personnel and law enforcement agencies in response to security incidents
- Develop and implement protocols for responding to security breaches and emergencies
- Security Policies and Procedures:Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines related to surveillance operations
- Train security staff and employees on security protocols and best practices
- Collaboration:Collaborate with other departments, such as IT and facilities, to integrate surveillance systems with other security measures
- Liaise with external vendors and contractors for surveillance equipment procurement and maintenance
- Compliance:Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to surveillance and data privacy
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in surveillance and security fields
- Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as Criminal Justice, Security Management, or Information Technology) or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in managing surveillance operations, preferably in a corporate or high-security environment
- Knowledge of surveillance technologies, including CCTV systems, access control, and alarms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to surveillance and privacy
