Job Overview

As a Support Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical support and

ensuring smooth operation of data-driven solutions in 24x7 environments. Success in

this role means effectively troubleshooting, resolving issues, and collaborating with

teams to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will act as a critical

link between clients and development teams, enabling seamless adoption of analytics

solutions. This role offers an excellent foundation to grow your technical and problemsolving skills within a leading analytics and AI-focused organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • First-line Monitoring: Perform first-line monitoring and incident triage for 24x7

operations.

  • Cloud Services Oversight: Monitor Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services

including BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Composer, and Cloud Storage.

  • Alert & Ticket Management: Manage alerts, tickets, escalations, and ensure

smooth shifting handovers.

  • Troubleshooting: Resolve issues using Linux, SQL, and Python scripts to ensure

business continuity.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and software

engineers to diagnose and resolve problems.

  • Deployment Assistance: Assist in the rollout and testing of new features and

updates.

  • Documentation: Maintain clear records of support activities, incident reports,

and resolution steps.

  • Continuous Learning: Continuously learn and apply best practices in support

engineering and data operations.

Note - Shift Operations: Work in rotational shifts over weekends, covering schedules of

6:00 AM 3:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM, and 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology (BE/BTech).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and SQL.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and basic GCP knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Python for debugging and support tasks.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, data lake operations, and data warehousing

concepts.

  • Experience with scripting languages for automation.
  • Understanding of incident management processes, ITIL practices, and SDLC tools.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies, databases, Python, or technical support are

an added advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication

abilities.
