Subject Matter Expert (SME) Role Overview

We are seeking full-time Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with strong expertise in Engineering or Management and prior EdTech experience to design, develop, and maintain high-quality self-paced courses for asynchronous learning. This is an office-based role focused on creating scalable, learner-centric digital content aligned with academic and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop self-paced digital courses, including:
  • Video lecture scripts and detailed storyboards
  • Presentation decks and structured learning materials
  • Case studies, industry examples, and applied learning activities
  • Assessments, quizzes, assignments, and evaluation rubrics
• Ensure alignment with curriculum frameworks, learning outcomes, and Outcome-Based Education (OBE)
• Adapt subject matter content for asynchronous learning environments
• Collaborate closely with instructional designers, multimedia teams, and LMS teams
• Review content for academic accuracy, consistency, and learner engagement
• Update course content periodically to reflect industry advancements and best practices
• Support internal academic quality assurance and review processes

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Master s degree or PhD in Engineering or Management
• 3 5+ years of relevant experience, with mandatory experience in the EdTech industry
• Proven experience in developing self-paced / online / asynchronous learning content
• Strong conceptual clarity and content structuring skills
• Excellent written communication and academic documentation skills
• Working knowledge of LMS platforms and digital learning tools

Preferred Skills

• Experience with instructional design and digital learning methodologies
• Understanding of Outcome-Based Education (OBE)
• Exposure to national and international academic standards
• Industry certifications or applied industry experience (preferred)
• Learning Management System
