Store Manager - Supermarket

Role & responsibilities:

Store Operations

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning
• Maintain store layout, cleanliness, and product displays
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations

Sales & Customer Experience

• Achieve sales targets and maximize profitability
• Deliver excellent customer service and enhance shopping experience
• Address customer queries and resolve complaints promptly

Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
• Reduce wastage, pilferage, and expired stock
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage stock ordering

Team Management

• Hire, train, and supervise store staff
• Prepare duty rosters and manage attendance
• Motivate and guide employees to meet performance goals

Financial Control

• Handle cash management, billing, and daily sales reconciliation
• Track expenses and optimize operational costs
• Review sales reports and implement improvements

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to hygiene and food safety standards
• Conduct regular store audits and inspections
• Maintain proper documentation and records
• Experience in managing large-sized stores Especially in Supermarket is highly preferred.
• *Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the store, maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
• *Monitor store performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
• *Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and health standards.Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment.
• *Ensure proper storage, handling, and display of products to minimize shrinkage and wastage.
• *Conduct regular stock audits and manage inventory discrepancies effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree (preferred)
• 35 years of experience in grocery/retail store management
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Good communication and customer-handling ability
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory tools
