Job Description
We are seeking a skilled OTT / STB Test Engineer with hands-on experience in validating OTT platforms, IPTV, DTV, and Set-Top Box (STB) applications. The candidate will be responsible for functional, integration, compatibility, and end-to-end testing across video delivery platforms and devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing of OTT applications, IPTV, DTV, and Set-Top Box (STB) platforms.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
- Validate video streaming quality, channel navigation, EPG, VOD, Catch-up TV, and live TV features.
- Test middleware, firmware, and OTT applications on STB devices.
- Verify content delivery across multiple platforms and devices.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
- Analyze logs and troubleshoot issues related to video playback and streaming.
- Work closely with development, product, and release teams.
- Prepare test cases, test plans, and test reports.
- Ensure quality standards are met before production deployment.

- MPEG, HLS, DASH Streaming
- Video Codecs
- Network Protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, UDP, RTP)
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or TestRail.
